UWE is back!
UWE is back! In its fifth edition, UWE embarks on a music-theatrical journey into the depths of the oceans and meets Oscar Wilde's Salome, Heinrich von Kleist's Prince Frederick of Homburg and three sad clowns who only have a cell phone. It searches for queer utopias between Germany and Namibia, questions power structures in higher education and encourages self-determined decisions.
UWE is organized by a team of students from the Theaterakademie and shows productions that were created at international theater universities. Accompanied by an extensive supporting program - from a discourse advocacy piece to a party - UWE thus becomes a place of networking for the next generation of theater professionals.
