UWE:festival

UWE:festival is a student-run festival of the August Everding theatre academy.

UWE strives to establish an international network of theatre’s next generation and create a space for exchanging ideas, both boundary-less and boundary-overcoming. We look forward to your artistic work and vision, regardless of form, language, discipline, genre and gender.

UWE also poses the question, how an international festival could run sustainably, paying respect to our environment and the people around us. What could theatre in times of climate crisis and social change look like? In the process of planning and executing UWE, we will attempt to find answers collectively.
